Our passion and beginnings
My passion for reptiles began at the age of eight while catching lizards and snakes along the canals where I fished as a boy in South Florida. That childhood curiosity grew into a dedicated calling. In 2016, we fell in love with the western hognose species and decided to try our luck at breeding them. Since then, Exotic Fire Hogs has flourished into an established South Florida breeding project founded on care and genuine enthusiasm.
Specialty genes and breeding focus
We specialize in distinct and captivating western hognose morphs. We particularly love the lavender gene and have developed several striking combinations featuring lavender traits. Running a close second is the frost complex, cherished for the unique characteristics and visual depth it introduces.
